Discovering Welsh Roots, A History of the Goodwin Family £12.75

Looking around for further subjects of research - I suppose it is a disease with us historians - it crossed my mind to look at the history of my mother's family, the Goodwins from Herefordshire, in a similar way to that which I had covered my father's family, the Whetters, in The Cornish Farmer published in 2001. Over the years I had occasionally done some research on them. A bit desultory. Sometimes when on a visit to her home territory, the Golden Valley, more specifically, Wilmastone in Peterchurch. Well, my names seemed to be carefully balanced with regard to both my parents' families, second name Charles after my Whetter grandfather, third name Arthur after my Goodwin, and I seem to maintain this balance in relation to relatives today who are in a similar position. They do say, of course, that genetically one takes a little more from one's mother than one's father. So it was only right that I paid attention to the Goodwins ...
