Cornish Weather & Cornish People in the 17th Century

This is a work long intended, a follow up of my thesis, "Cornwall in the 17th Century: A Study in Economic History", published by Lodenek Press in 1974. Working through the monumental amount of material that was available on the economic history of the land for that period in the late 1950s, naturally I came across a great deal of other information on social, biographical and other topics. I must say the personalities that emerged and the evidence of day-today life of the people I found quite a bit more interesting than the duller statistics relating to trade and industry. However, the die was cast and the subject of my thesis, "The Economic History of Cornwall in the 17th Century", had to be pursued to its end and logical conclusion. I was awarded a Ph.D. for this at London University in 1965 but like quite a few things in my publishing career - and other aspects too for that matter - I must say I have experienced along the way numerous halts and obstacles ... 1991,  12.75
